Map of the 17 Mile Dr
Loooonnnnggg Drive to the Monterey Bay would not have been possible for us if it were not for this map ;-)
BLUE
I love Blue. I love beaches. I love Ocean.
"you could just look at this all day with a strange longing in your heart .. you feel intimidated yet inspired .. restless yet peaceful .. irrelevant yet alive .. do you define the ocean or does the ocean define you" (A close friend shared his thoughts in form this little write-up for this picture :))

Line of Control (LOC)
This little birdie was found at a parking lot in the Spanish Bay in the Monterey Area. Seemed like it was crossing a border ;)
Landing..
A capture at the Pacific Grove. Though I could have done a better job, nevertheless, I'd like share this one too :)
Opposites attract?
The two pictures in this collage were taken during one of my evening walks last summer. The Pink flower caught my attention, beaming flamboyantly under the sun as though inviting me to capture it's beauty. The second picture came at the crack of dusk when I had almost finished with my walk that evening.
PS. Yeah, I do carry my camera on my walks, sometimes ;-)

Vantage Point, Julia Pfieffer State Burns Park
And this is the Vantage point of the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park in Big Sur. One has to pass through a tunnel to get to this point. You can almost feel the currents of the gigantic ocean and needless to say, I was thrilled!! You'll almost want to climb down the hill and get into the Ocean. The view of the ocean and the McWay falls from this point is just mind-blowing!!
